LIBRARY KNITTERS

When: Monday, January 23, 2017 - 10:00 a.m.- noon
Where: Municipal Conference Room

Join our Library Knitters for coffee, the craft of your choice, and good conversation! The group meets every other Monday in the in the Municipal Conference Room Outside the Library.

The next meetings in 2017 will be on February 6, 20 and March 6.

StoryWorks
Murrysville Community Library StoryWorks Storytellers Guild

When: Monday, January 23, 2017 - 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Where: Murrysville Community Library Conference Room

StoryWorks meets at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. This community storytelling group provides a friendly, encouraging environment to amateurs and professionals. It is the perfect setting to try a new story, practice an already prepared piece, or just listen to others telling.

Applebee's Dining to Donate Program allows everyone to "Enjoy A Meal That's Filling and Fulfilling" by eating in or trying their Carside to Go service. Applebee's will donate to the Library 15% of total sales to Murrysville Community Library supporters on January 24, 2017.

PUSHING THE LIMITS RETURNS MARCH 14

The suggested read-ahead books for the March 14 session at 6:30 p.m. are Longitude: the Story of the Lone Genius Who Solved the Greatest Scientific Problem of His Time and A More Perfect Heaven: how Copernicus Revolutionized the Cosmos by Dava Sobel. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk.

Winter 2017 One Book/One Community

The selection for this March 1 event is the classic Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. This special program is made possible through a grant from the Westmoreland Library Network. Check under "Events and Programs" for more details.
